On March 23, the Institute of Oriental Studies of Osh State University hosted a guest lecture with the participation of the former Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Mongolia and Candidate of Political Sciences, Aibek Artykbayev.
The lecture was dedicated to the topic “Kyrgyz-Mongolian Diplomatic Relations: History, Current State, and Prospects” and gathered students, graduate students, and faculty members.
During the event, the speaker discussed the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries, current areas of cooperation, and prospects for development. He also shared examples from his diplomatic experience and held an open discussion with participants. At the end of the lecture, students’ questions were answered, and practical recommendations were given.
Aibek Artykbayev announced that he would assist two students or graduate students of the institute to study the Mongolian language at a university in Mongolia on a state-funded basis. In addition, he expressed his intention to support sending two more researchers to the country for scientific research.
At the conclusion of the event, the Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Associate Professor Zholdoshbek Botonoev, expressed gratitude to the guest.
