Joint Research with Chinese Specialists
Osh State University is strengthening its cooperation with Sun Yat-sen University in the field of public health. The parties have developed a plan for joint research on zoonotic and transboundary infectious diseases in Kyrgyzstan.
This cooperation was established within the framework of the participation of Associate Professor Begimai Abdimomunova, Head of the Master's Program in Public Health at the International Medical Faculty of Osh State University, in the international scientific and practical program “Visit of Foreign Experts to Guangdong,” held in Yunfu.
During the event, Abdimomunova presented her research on the implementation of diagnostic tests for the rapid detection of zoonotic parasitic diseases. She focused on modern rapid diagnostic methods (POCT) used in parasitology and infectious diseases and outlined ways to integrate scientific developments into the healthcare system.
As a result of the visit, a cooperation plan in the field of public health was developed between the two universities. It предусматривает joint research and the establishment of a scientific research laboratory.
This initiative will contribute to strengthening scientific potential, expanding international partnerships, and introducing modern diagnostic technologies into the healthcare sector.
