Teachers Strengthen Cooperation in Samarkand

Teachers of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication returned from a scientific visit to Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

The delegation included Professor Venera Sabirova, Associate Professor Damira Asanova, and senior lecturers Seidanakhan Alimbaeva, Sairagul Kurmankulova, and Altynai Ismailova. As part of the visit, on April 17 they participated in the international scientific conference titled “Prospects for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies” held at ZARMED University. During the conference, participants discussed modern technological development trends, the use of digital solutions in education, and the role of artificial intelligence.

On April 18, the delegation delivered a guest lecture to students at the Institute of Russian and Foreign Languages Philology of Samarkand State University. The lecture focused on developing international cooperation in education and scientific research. The leadership of both institutions also held a meeting to discuss expanding cooperation in education and research. As a result, the parties reached agreements aimed at strengthening academic ties.

At the end of the visit, gifts were presented to the Kyrgyz Language and Literature Center that is expected to open at Samarkand State University. These included the national flag of Kyrgyzstan, traditional national headwear, and the educational manual “Manas Studies.”

This visit was aimed at elevating scientific and academic cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries to a new level.
