Students won prize-winning places at an international olympiad

Students of the Faculty of Medicine of Osh State University won prize-winning places at the international olympiad titled “Fundamental Morphological Disciplines.”

The academic competition was held on May 14 at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in Bishkek and was attended by students from medical universities of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the olympiad, teams were introduced through creative videos, followed by a question-and-answer session on fundamental disciplines. In addition, individual competitions were held in the fields of biology, normal anatomy, topographic anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology, normal physiology, histology, pathological anatomy, and pathological physiology.

As a result, Osh State University students secured prize-winning places in several categories.

Aiperi Abidinova – second place in pathological anatomy;
Aisel Sейтекova – second place in topographic anatomy;
Aizhan Ermatova – second place in histology;
Aktilek Sultanova – second place in anatomy;
Nargiza Jeenbekova – second place in pathological physiology;
Aibiyke Polotbek kyzy – second place in normal physiology;
Karlygach Nurmakhatova – third place in medical biology;
Adilet Ergeshbaev – second place in biophysics;
Muslim Yusupov – second place in biochemistry.

The students were prepared for the olympiad by Professor Taasilkan Jumaeva of Osh State University and the faculty lecturers. They provided deep theoretical and practical training to the team and made a significant contribution to achieving successful results.

The olympiad was organized to assess students’ theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and scientific potential in the field of medical education.
