Temirlan Nurbekov won bronze at the Toguz Korgool World Cup

Following the competition, Temirlan Nurbekov secured a place at the 6th World Nomad Games and the World Championship. His coach is Mirbek Rakhmanov, a lecturer at Osh State University.

The World Cup took place from 16 to 21 July in the Czech city of Pardubice. More than 60 athletes from the Czech Republic, Mongolia, Turkey, Spain, Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan competed in the classical, rapid and blitz formats of Toguz Korgool.

Temirlan Nurbekov is a student at the Osh State University Institute of History and Law. He has won national and international toguz korgool competitions. He previously competed successfully in the Kyrgyz and Asian championships, and currently represents his country as a member of the Osh city team.
