OshSU Staff Win Top Places at National Spartakiad
Teams from Osh State University competed in volleyball, football, toguz korgool, chess, table tennis and tug of war at a competition attended by representatives of higher education institutions across Kyrgyzstan.
Results achieved by OshSU teams:
- Men’s volleyball — 1st place;
- Women’s volleyball — 1st place;
- Football — 1st place;
- Men’s toguz korgool — 1st place;
- Women’s toguz korgool — 3rd place;
- Men’s chess — 1st–2nd places;
- Chess — Associate Professor M. Sadyrova, 1st place;
- Men’s table tennis — 1st–2nd places;
- Women’s table tennis — 1st–3rd places;
- Tug of war — 2nd place.
The Spartakiad was organized on the initiative of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers. The sporting event aimed to strengthen unity among employees in the sector, promote experience sharing and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
