State Language Day Celebrated at the Construction College
An event dedicated to September 23 – State Language Day was held at the Construction College of Osh State University.
The event focused on the importance of the Kyrgyz language, respecting it, and using it widely in everyday life. The event was attended by Masturakhan Sharipova, Vice-Rector for State Language and Social Affairs, as well as teachers and students. The guests delivered congratulatory speeches and expressed their best wishes to the students.
The celebration continued with a concert program prepared by the students.
It is worth noting that Kyrgyz was granted the status of the state language on September 23, 1989. This year marks the 37th anniversary of the occasion.
