OshSU Appoints New Heads
In accordance with the relevant orders of Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov, new heads have been appointed to several academic units of OshSU effective October 1, 2026. They will serve for one year on a competitive basis during the 2026–2027 academic year.
Damira Akmatova has been appointed Director of the Higher School of International Educational Programs, Bolotbek Karimov as Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Physical Education, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies. Zhyldyz Aitbaeva has been appointed Director of the Institute of History and Law, while Zhenishbek Belekov has become Director of the Institute of Economics, Business and Management.
Burulcha Koilubaeva has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Olzhobai Shaimkulov as Dean of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism, and Venera Surkeeva as Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology.
The selection of the new heads was carried out through a competitive process announced on the official OshSU website. Following the competition, candidates were selected for leadership positions in the academic units. Employment contracts were signed with the appointed heads, specifying their duties, working conditions and key performance indicators (KPIs).
