A delegation from Osh State University donated nearly 50 books to the Kyrgyz Language and Culture Center opened at Sharof Rashidov Samarkand State University.

Professors and associate professors Venera Sabirova, Totukan Dyikanbaeva, Seydanakhan Alimbaeva, and Damira Asanova, who were part of the delegation, also attended the center’s opening ceremony.

Most of the books were collected from the personal libraries of OshSU associate professors Abdymitalip Murzakmetov and Baktygul Baitikova, as well as other faculty members. The donated books will enrich the center’s collection and help students and researchers deepen their knowledge of the Kyrgyz language, literature, and culture.

During the visit, the delegation also participated in the international conference “Issues of Integration of Culture, Linguistics and Literature in the Process of Central Asian Integration,” held at Samarkand State University on October 22–24.
