OshSU, Tashkent University to Strengthen Academic Cooperation
The Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Joldoshbek Botonоev, and Head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Sultanbek Matnazarov, met with the leadership of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies during their working visit to Uzbekistan.
The meeting was attended by the university’s Rector, Professor Saodat Nasirоvа, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Zukhriddin Alimov, and Faculty Deans Mirzohid Askarov and Samida Mustafaeva.
The parties discussed the development of academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities, exchange of experience, and implementation of joint projects. They also exchanged views on sharing experience in teaching Oriental languages, organizing practical programmes, researching historical manuscripts and introducing them into academic circulation, as well as conducting joint research.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions and continue joint activities in the areas discussed.
