The Den Sooluk Sports Games for workers of educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, which took place on June 21-27 at the sports base of the “Kyrgyz Denizi” Sanatorium on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, has come to an end.
In the overall standings, Osh State University teams came in first. The men's under 40 volleyball team, the women's volleyball team, the streetball team, the men's chess team, the women's chess team, the women's tennis team, and the ordo team all won first place.
Teams over 40 placed third in volleyball, third in football, second in men's tennis, third in men's toguz korgool, and third in men's football.
Out of 14 teams from Osh State University, 11 teams won prizes.
K. Kojobekov, the rector of Osh State University, received a diploma from the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic during the event's closing ceremony.
Zh. Artykova, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at Osh State University, and A. Sattarov, President of the Professional Union at Osh State University, led the athletes.
"Den Sooluk" Spartakiad is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
