Osh State University takes the lead in the general ranking of the quality of education
According to the results of the program “Demand rating of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic – 2022” conducted by the “Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating” (NAAR), Osh State University took first place in the overall ranking among institutions.
In the ranking, Osh State University took 1st place in 26 out of 72 undergraduate programs, and 2nd place in 7 programs. Among master’s degree Osh State University took 1st place in 27 out of 46 programs, and 1 took 3rd place.
The Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating also released a TOP-50 ranking of the publication activity of Kyrgyz university professors. The TOP-50 includes a total of about 400 faculty members, including 148 scientists working at Osh State University. 4 scientists working at Osh State University entered the TOP-10. 28 out of 49 scientists in the TOP-30 work at Osh State University.
According to the development of the internationalization of education in the country's universities, or in the indicator “Academic Mobility”, Osh State University ranks first.
One of the first institutions in Kyrgyzstan to gain institutional accreditation from the Kazakh international organization NAAR in 2018 was Osh State University. The organization has been releasing a nationwide ranking of Kyrgyz universities from 2018–2019. For five years running, Osh State University has maintained its top spot in the overall rankings.
