Mass Runs Scheduled for “Silk Road Marathon 2024”
A grand event is set to unfold in celebration of the 85th anniversary of Osh State University. The city of Osh will witness the bustling energy of the “Silk Road Marathon 2024”, a spectacle that will see approximately 1,000 locals taking part. Held at Osh’s central square, the marathon will feature participants competing across three categories: 3 kilometers, 5 kilometers, and 10 kilometers.
The Silk Road Marathon holds historical significance, symbolizing the ancient trade routes that connected the East and West, fostering cultural exchange and economic prosperity. In the spirit of this legacy, the marathon seeks to promote unity and healthy lifestyles among participants from diverse backgrounds.
