Senior lecturer of the Design Department Kimiya Torogeldieva and researcher Erbol Kulmanbetov presented their scientific studies on Kyrgyz national clothing to city residents.

The event was held at the Turgunbay Sadykov Osh Regional Museum of Fine Arts and was attended by city residents, young people, and art enthusiasts.

Based on information collected from local communities, Kimiya Torogeldieva and Erbol Kulmanbetov delivered a detailed presentation about the history, distinctive features, and cultural value of Kyrgyz national clothing. According to them, national clothing is not just apparel, but a valuable cultural heritage reflecting the spiritual world, traditions, and aesthetic taste of the people.

During the event, participants received information about the historical development of Kyrgyz national clothing and its significance in modern times.

Kimiya Torogeldieva is a well-known artist and designer. She is a member of the Artists’ Union of Kyrgyzstan, the Eurasian Designers Union, and international creative associations. She is also an academician of the National Design Academy of Kazakhstan. Torogeldieva actively participates in national and international exhibitions.
