The “OshSU-University” team captain won the Asian Cup
As a member of the Kyrgyz national team, Omurbek Zhunusov, the captain of the volleyball team “OshSU-UNIVERSITY”, won the Asian Challenge Cup. The cup held in Cholpon-Ata Cup included participation from 7 national teams. Saudi Arabian volleyball players lost to the Kyrgyz team in a tough encounter with a score of 3:2, and they ultimately finished in second place. Uzbek athletes took third place.
The competition’s top diagonal player was named Omurbek Zhunusov. He has been a successful member of the national volleyball team for three years, the team captain for “OshSU-UNIVERSITY”, and a lecturer at the Osh State University’s Medical College.
