The Interregional Children’s Clinical Hospital has opened the Pediatrics Department No. 1 facility. The Osh State University administration, led by the rector Kudaiberdi Kojobekov, the director of the medical facility Ravshan Mametov, members of the teaching staff, and students from the medical faculty all attended the occasion.

The new department, which has nine lecture halls and a simulation room, aims to raise the caliber of students’ knowledge by increasing theoretical understanding in practical applications. The department had previously been housed in the hospital’s basement. In today’s lecture halls, which are now bright and technologically advanced, students will learn new information and apply it in practice.

It must be noted that the department’s history starts in 1999. Here, 17 professionals are productively employed, with 80% of them being top-notch healthcare providers. The Honored Doctor of the Kyrgyz Republic, candidate in the medical sciences, associate professor, and doctor of the highest category Nuruyeva Zamira Attakurovna is in charge of the department.
