World Rectors' Forum encourages collaboration with international allies

At the Kyrgyz National News Agency "Kabar," the Ministry of Education and Science conducted a press conference on September 12, 2022, to discuss World Rectors' Forum.

Rasul Abazbek Uulu, the deputy minister of education and science, Mirlan Chynybaev, the rector of the I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, and Chinara Adamkulova, the rector of the Diplomatic Academy under the ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, all participated in the press conference.

The World Forum of Rectors, with the theme "The role of universities in developing a national innovative ecosystem," will take place in Bishkek on September 14–15, 2022.

Rasul Abazbek uulu, deputy minister of education and science, stated that the conference will act as a platform for university experience sharing in order to improve the efficacy of research and innovation.

The deputy minister also mentioned that five universities in Kyrgyzstan have unique status and said that this session will provide participants the chance to share their experiences with how universities use their independence.

Chinara Adamkulova discussed the forum's goals and the necessity for startup ecosystems in higher education.

"In universities, developing an ecosystem and companies brings education closer to the real world of application. Each higher education institution should concentrate on finding its capabilities when creating startups, "Adamkulova added.

Additionally, Mirlan Chinybayev announced that university colleagues would be in attendance to discuss the process of setting up business incubators.

"This is an excellent chance for us to work with colleges... We are getting ready to negotiate agreements with several universities, "added he.

The forum's attendees will talk about strategies to develop young people's scientific and technical potential, sell university intellectual property, and set up scientific institutions to boost research and educational offerings.

Additionally, from September 11, attendees to the forum have started to arrive. Over 100 visitors from 60 various countries are anticipated to attend the forum.
