World Rectors' Forum
World Rectors' Forum is taking place in Bishkek under the theme "The role of universities in developing a national innovative ecosystem."
Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the rector of OshSU, is also taking part at the forum. Rectors of universities from more than 100 various countries are debating how to boost the effectiveness of academic research, commercialization of intellectual property and technology transfer.
Akylbek Japarov, the head of the cabinet of ministers spoke at the international forum of rectors.
According to A. Japarov, "Osh State University will turn into a nest of thousands of companies that will serve as the cornerstone of the country ’s economic growth."
