Traditional institutions discussed at OshSU
The family, the elders' council, and the people's assembly were the topics of a scientific-practical conference at OshSU titled "Traditional Institutions in the Experience of the Kyrgyz People in Creating a Society and Managing the People."
Participants included members of the university community, local government officials, and rectors of the city's universities.
Presentations on the family, elders' council, people's assembly and its political traditional roots, the position of the congress in the Kyrgyz government system, customs, and values were presented during the scientific-practical conference.
The meeting was convened in accordance with Decree No. 284 of President S. Japarov of the Kyrgyz Republic dated August 15, 2022, which dealt with questions pertaining to the purpose of the People's Assembly.
