The newspaper was founded thirty years ago. Kanybek Isakov was a student at the time. Kanybek Isakov had a direct hand in the establishment of the publication. When Kanybek Isakov was appointed university rector, Nur quickly became the preferred newspaper of the students. Readers were curious about the published article. The rector was constantly interested in the content of the newspaper and attached great importance to it. Kenzhe Paizova and I were then students of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism. After graduation, Kenzhe immediately began working as an assistant to the rector. Noting her conscientious attitude to work, Kanybek Isakov offered her the position of editor of the Nur newspaper. Kenzhe performed a variety of tasks by herself, including content gathering, newspaper design, text editing, and participation in publication.
When Kenzhe Payizova worked at the Umut TV studio, which she converted into a sizable actual TV studio, she demonstrated her efficiency and creativity. She made an effort to design a curriculum that addressed current topics, mirrored activities taking place at the university, and catered to the interests of both teachers and students. The programs were created at night since there was never enough time. We went through both the challenges and rewards of labor together.
