The Osh State University Civil Scholarship Award Ceremony
Today, December 26, the scholarship award ceremony was held at the university. The university president Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov and the vice president for student affairs Zhyldyz Artykova, lecturers and students took part at the ceremony. Participants in the event included the presidential scholarship holders.
The Osh State University Civil Scholarship was given to 10 students this academic year. Diyana Islamova - student of the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology, Elvira Borombaeva - student of the Department of Oriental Studies and History, Begimay Rysalieva - student of the Department of Russian Philology, Bekbolsun Satybaev - student of the Department of World Languages and Cultures, Olzhobay Toychubek uulu - student of the Department of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism, Saidullo Sulaimanov - student of the Department of International Relations, Uulkan Kubatbek kyzy - student of the Department of Physics and Technology, and students of the Department of Medicine Aiperi Nurbek kyzy and Begimay Ashirova became Civil Scholarship Holders.
Civil Scholarship Holders were chosen according to rules established at the university for the contest "The Best Student of Osh State University. Students who received the best grades participated in the competition. Academic accomplishments, leadership, creativity, and organizational skills were all evaluated in the competition.
Each scholarship holder will receive a scholarship worth $100 per month, $1,200 per year for the academic year 2022-2023. A philanthropic professor who previously worked at Osh State University gives this scholarship. The philanthropist had a plan to deposit his lifetime savings in a bank and give it to the best students of the university as scholarships. Under the "bank-professor-university" plan, the management of Osh State University signed a tripartite agreement for the payment of this scholarship for 50 years.
