Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the president of Osh State University, and Zamirbek Bojonov, the vice president for educational affairs, took part in the celebration of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Department’s New Year and gave diplomas and valuable gifts to students who succeded in academic and social activities.

The Center for the Support of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyzyl-Kiya cement plant, and partners of the Kyrgyz-China Department presented scholarships worth 10,000 som to the best 10 department students at the celebration. The general employers, led by Mr. Yu Min, the chairman of the entrepreneurs, were awarded the "Letter of Gratitude" for their support of the department’s activities.

The Confucius Institute and the Kyrgyz-Chinese Department signed a collaboration agreement with the Center for the Support of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan as part of the celebration for the New Year. At the meeting, the extension of practice bases for department students and hiring graduates were also highlighted.
