Surgery Department opened at the Medical Clinic of Osh State University

Akylbek Zhaparov, the chairman of the Kyrgyz Republic's Cabinet of Ministers, attended the opening ceremony of the Osh State University Medical Clinic's Surgery Department and operating section.

All surgical procedures, including oncological ones, will now be carried out here. The department is equipped with modern technology. A clinic ambulance was also purchased in December of last year.

Today, the medical clinic has 4 departments. 13,292 people underwent a medical examination in the outpatient diagnostic section in 2021, while in 2022 this number rose to 29,000 people. 1500 individuals received a 10-day course of therapy in the therapy department. 512 patients in the dentistry department received specialized medical care and treatment.

The distinguished guests visited the DIMEDUS virtual clinic, the morphological building, the scientific anatomical museum, and the lecture halls of the Medicine Department. They also got acquainted with the exhibition of scientific projects, the implementation of the digital platform at the university, and the work of the Youth Business Park.
