OshSU ladies competed in swimming
A swimming competition between the faculty’s women of the university was conducted on March 8 in honor of International Women's Day and the year of "Healthy Life" declared at OshSU. The rectorate and the university's trade union sponsored the sports contest.
The competition was held in the "Oligarch" indoor swimming pool, where 60 participants swam a distance of 20 meters.
Vice-rectors of the university Taasilkan Jumabaeva and Zhyldyz Artykova congratulated the women on Women's Day, and wished them success.
As a result of the competition, Nurilya Zairova, a lecturer of the Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism Department, took the 1st place, Lazokat Jumaeva, a lecturer of the International Medicine Department, took the 2nd place, Nazgul Tashmatova took the 3rd place, Tashtanbek kyzy Aigul, a lecturer of the Law Department, took the 4th place. And among those under 45 years of age, a lecturer of the Medical College Salamat Murzakulova won the 1st place, a lecturer of the World Languages and Culture Department Aijamal Abdieva won the 2nd place, a lecturer of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Department Aijamal Ergeshbaeva won the 3rd place, a lecturer of the Law Depaartment Kubanych kyzy Aigul won the 4th place. The participants who achieved success were awarded with diplomas and cash prizes.
