The OshSU lecturer’s book presentation was held in Bishkek
The National Academy of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted the presentation of the book "Victims of Persecution in Kyrgyzstan. 20-50s of the XX century" by Zholdoshbek Botonoev, assistant professor of the Department of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of International Relations.
The event was attended by scientists from the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences, J. Balasagyn KSU, I. Arabayev KSU, K. Karasaev BSU, students.
The book presents for the first time a large amount of previously unpublished archival documents, materials and other information related to the publishing movement, eavesdropping policy and political repressions of the Soviet government in the 20s-50s of the 20th century. The book was published in 2022 by the publishing house "Uluu Too".
