The 5th Film Forum of Female Directors of Kyrgyzstan started its work at Osh State University
Osh State University hosted the opening of the 5th Film Forum of Female Directors of Kyrgyzstan, devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Soviet Kyrgyz film filmmaker Lily Turusbekova, the daughter of the writer Zhusup Turusbekov. A thematic film was shown at the event, and speeches were given in honor of the hero of the day.
Feature and documentary films by women filmmakers from South Korea, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will be shown at the 5th Film Forum. Guests will hold master classes, seminars, round tables for students and film lovers.
The rector of Osh State University K. Kozhobekov met with the guests and informed them about the activities of the university.
The Film Forum is held with the financial assistance of the Department of Cinematography under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Government of Switzerland, with the support of Osh State University and organized by the “Creative Women of Asia” Public Foundation.
The film forum will be held from 11 to 14 May 2023.
