Training on improving lecturers` competencies

On May 29-30, 72-hour advanced training courses on the programs "Using STEM technologies in teaching disciplines" and "Modern technologies in managing the quality of education" were held at Osh State University as part of the joint activities of the Institute for Advanced Studies of Osh State University and the Center for Advanced Studies of Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University.

Kubanych Toktorov, OshSU vice-rector for investment and development, Meilikan Altybayeva, head of the accreditation and quality department, and Abdyzhapar Akkulov, director of Osh State University's Institute for Advanced Studies made a speech at the training. The training courses are conducted to ensure the quality of education and scientific activities of lecturers, and improve their competencies by utilizing new educational technologies.

At the end of the program, participants were given special certificates.
