Archaeological expeditions of West Bohemia University researchers
A delegation of archaeologists from the University of West Bohemia consisting of doctoral students Elishka Grigoreva, Tomas Tesarik, Burcha Zhemre Bal and Denis Jurashov visited Osh State University. The guests met with the Director of the Department of International Relations Abdygany Abduvaliev and told about OshSU`s educational process, infrastructure and international relations. Abduvaliev stated that the University of West Bohemia is one of the main European partners of OshSU. The guests, together with Osh State University and the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, conduct archaeological research on the territory of Southern Kyrgyzstan in the Ak-Zhar locality. Archaeological expeditions are led by Associate Professor Pavel Vareka from the Czech side and Candidate of Historical Sciences Tashbaeva Kadicha (Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic) from the Kyrgyz side.
Geologists, archaeologists, PhD students, and students of the Faculty of History and Social Affairs of Osh State University participate in the expedition.
