25 people's quota will be allocated for education in China

On August 16-19, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Bekzhan Supanaliev, as part of a delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, visited the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Bekzhan Supanaliev took part in the signing of an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of the XUAR on the provision of 25 scholarship places for education in universities of the autonomous region. An agreement was also signed between Osh State University and Shihezi University.

Within the framework of the memorandum with Xinjiang Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd, a leading company for the production and maintenance of wind turbines, it is expected to install wind turbines in Kyrgyzstan and train specialists in wind energy at two technical universities in the country.
