The ties with the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute are strengthening
A delegation from Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, led by the Head of the Department of External Relations, Jashurbek Koraboyev visited Osh State University. They met with the Vice Rector for External Relations of OshSU Kursantbek Attokurov.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of bilateral cooperation. Andijan State Pedagogical Institute is the only university in Uzbekistan that prepares specialists for Kyrgyz schools. The two universities have established close ties in the areas of academic mobility for students and faculty, scientific exchange, development of educational and methodological literature, and so on.
The Andijan colleagues also shared that the Rector of Osh State University Kudayberdi Kozhobekov has been awarded with the title of "Honorary Professor of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute" and expressed their interest in further collaboration with Osh State University.
Two years ago, Andijan State Pedagogical Institute separated from Andijan State University, and it currently enrolls over 10,000 students.
