Representatives of St. Petersburg City Administration at Osh State University
A delegation led by the government member of St. Petersburg, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the City of St. Petersburg, Evgeniy Dmitrievich Grigoriev, visited the Ak-Buura Campus of Osh State University. The Russian guests were shown the capabilities of the clinic, modern equipment, simulation and morphological scientific laboratories, and the infrastructure of the medical faculties.
In his speech, Evgeniy Dmitrievich noted that it is essential to develop trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian, and social integration between St. Petersburg and the city of Osh. He mentioned that a roadmap for cooperation has been created, focusing on joint efforts in both educational and scientific spheres, including inter-university cooperation, the establishment of Russian-language schools, and the organization of teaching by Russian teachers in the city of Osh.
Initially, the Russian delegation met with the Osh City administration and discussed future cooperation plans. K.Sh. Attokurov, the Vice-Rector for External Relations, briefly informed about the cooperation between Osh State University and universities in St. Petersburg, emphasizing the importance of further deepening mutual collaboration.
Currently, Osh State University is entering into agreements with seven educational institutions in St. Petersburg to implement academic mobility programs, organize guest lectures, carry out joint projects, establish cultural and linguistic centers, and create joint educational programs, among other activities. Recently, a delegation led by the rector of the Baltic State Technical University, Konstantin Ivanov, paid a working visit to Osh State University.
