Forum on Food Security
Head of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Tourism and Agricultural Technologies of Osh State University Professor Abdugani Abdurasulov took part in the International Forum “Agriculture and Food Safety”, held in the Chinese province, Hainan on October 10-11.
Professor Abdugani Abdurasulov made a report at the forum on the topic “Genetic resources of livestock breeding in Kyrgyzstan as part of food security.”
“As part of this forum, I received information about technologies for soil cultivation and preparation of food. Promoting this type of activity in our country is one of the most important issues. As a member of the organizing committee, I hope to take the initiative to hold similar events in Kyrgyzstan, on the basis of Osh State University,” said Abdugani Abdurasulov.
Following the results of the forum, Professor Abdugani Abdurasulov was accepted into the organizing committee from Asian countries. The event was attended by more than 300 specialists from 47 countries who discussed problematic issues of agriculture and food safety.
