Omurbek Tekebaev, the ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to Germany, gave a guest lecture
The Institute of Oriental Studies at Osh State University recently hosted a guest lecture featuring Omurbek Tekebaev, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany. The lecture, centered on “Diplomatic Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany: History, Current State, and Prospects,” drew an audience comprising undergraduate and graduate students, along with faculty members.
The commencement of the event was marked by an opening statement from Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the Rector of Osh State University. Rector Kozhobekov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Tekebaev, highlighting the significance and value of guest lectures delivered by eminent individuals such as scientists, experts, and notable figures. The primary objective of the lecture was to gain comprehensive insights into the diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, with Rector Kozhobekov acknowledging and appreciating Ambassador Tekebaev for delivering an engaging and informative presentation.
The director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, Associate Professor Zholdoshbek Botonoyev, further emphasized the purpose behind organizing the lecture, emphasizing the need for detailed information on Kyrgyz-German diplomatic relations. He extended gratitude to Ambassador Tekebaev and announced an upcoming guest lecture on November 24 by Ulanbek Totuyaev, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This forthcoming lecture is anticipated to focus on the intricacies of Kyrgyz-Pakistan diplomatic relations.
Notably, these guest lectures are conducted in an online format, aligning with contemporary academic practices and ensuring accessibility to a wider audience. Such academic endeavors contribute significantly to enhancing understanding and awareness of international diplomatic relations within the academic community at Osh State University.
