Renowned Russian historian and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Viktor Kozodoy, recently engaged in a meeting with Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, the rector of Osh State University. During their interaction, Professor Kozodoy discussed his latest scholarly pursuits, notably his newly published book titled “Prince of the Siberian Kyrgyz Erenek,” extending congratulations to the university for its recognition as one of Eurasia's top three academic institutions and presented his book to the rector.
In response, Rector Kozhobekov expressed gratitude for the gift and highlighted the successful presentation of Professor Kozodoy's book in Osh. Additionally, he underscored the university's ambition to secure a place in the QS ranking and proposed collaboration in research endeavors, particularly with Osh State University's Faculty of History and Social Work. Mutual interest was expressed in joint efforts to organize scientific conferences, round table discussions, and guest lectures.
Professor Viktor Kozodoy also engaged with the faculty and students of the History and Social Work department, delivering a guest lecture centered on the life and contributions of Prince Erenek of the Siberian Kyrgyz.
