The top students of the Kyrgyz-Chinese faculty at Osh State University have been awarded special scholarships. A total of 23 students who demonstrated excellent academic performance and actively participated in social and cultural activities received these honors. Each student received a scholarship of 10,000 soms. These scholarships have been granted by employers, entrepreneurs, and alumni of the faculty for the past three years, aiming to support and motivate students.
In 2022, the faculty’s partners, including the Center for Support of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan, employers, and entrepreneurs from the Kyzyl-Kiya Cement Plant, allocated scholarships to 10 students. Last year, the Kyrgyz-Chinese faculty and the Confucius Institute signed an agreement with the Center for Support of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan.
It’s worth noting that the Kyrgyz-Chinese faculty at OshSU was established in 2013 with the goal of strengthening friendship and cooperation in the field of education. Currently, the faculty has more than 300 students.
