Victors Crowned in Osh State University Spartakiad

Osh State University athletes experienced a triumphant year, with the women’s team from the professional volleyball club “University OshSU” clinching two championships – one among the country’s women’s club teams and the other at the President’s Cup of the Volleyball Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Similarly, the male volleyball players from the professional volleyball club “University OshSU” secured the top position at the 2023 national volleyball championship. The university’s mini-football team successfully advanced to the finals of the Super League, while the professional football club “OshSU-Aldiyor” is making a mark in the national football championship.

Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov highlighted these achievements during the award ceremony for the Spartakiad winners among employees and teachers of Osh State University. In the overall team standings, the Industrial Pedagogical College claimed the first spot, followed by the STEM College in second place, and the Faculty of Business and Management in third place. Recognition was also given to outstanding players in categories such as “Best Player”, “Best Forward”, and “Best Defender”.

Winners and standout participants of the Spartakiad were honored with trophies, diplomas, and monetary prizes from both the university and the trade union committee of Osh State University. The Spartakiad’s prize fund totaled 100,000 soms.
