Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov paid a visit to Alina Azamat kyzy, a second-year student with disabilities at the Industrial Pedagogical College. During the visit, the rector presented her with a new electronic wheelchair, enabling her to participate in classes on the upper floors of the university.
Prior to this, Alina had been studying online, but with the new wheelchair, she can now actively attend classes alongside her peers, a positive development highlighted by the rector.
Furthermore, Alina Azamat kyzy is exempt from paying her education contract, demonstrating the university’s commitment to supporting students with disabilities.
Osh State University has taken steps to create a more inclusive environment for students with limited health capabilities. This includes the installation of ramps at the entrances of all educational buildings and the painting of internal steps for the convenience of visually impaired students. These measures aim to enhance the overall adaptability and accessibility of the university’s facilities for all students.
