A Brazilian player joined the futsal team of OshSU

The Osh State University (OshSU) futsal team secured 16 points in the opening round of the Super League, clinching the 2nd position in the tournament standings and advancing to the next stage. Tomorrow, on December 28, the “University” futsal team is set to compete against the Zarya team from Bishkek.

Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov extended congratulations to the team for progressing to the second round and introduced Daniel Enrique, a Brazilian futsal player, to the community. Daniel Enrique, a former member of Brazil’s second-best junior futsal youth team, is 23 years old and renowned for his skills as both an attacker and defender.

For the upcoming second round, the OshSU futsal team “University” has welcomed new additions, including Marlen Zoldubaev, Muhammed Askarbekov, Ilyas Chotbaev, Dennisbek Amandyk uulu, and Islambek Kudaiberdiev. The national team of the university currently consists of 22 players.

As per the decision of the futsal association of the Kyrgyz Republic, the championship is structured into three stages: initial, buffer, and final, following a new format. Notably, the OshSU futsal team made its debut in the Super League in 2022.
