On February 23rd, the Professional Union of Osh State University organized a thrilling billiards competition to mark Defender of the Fatherland Day. The event saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members aged below and above 45 years, all hailing from the educational institution.
In a display of skill and sportsmanship, among aged above 45, K. Zhaparov, a lecturer from the Medical College, claimed the top spot, followed by T. Asylbekov, an associate professor from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies, securing the second position. Sharing the third spot were S. Abdykadyrov, an associate professor from the Faculty of Business and Management, and T. Daminov, a senior lecturer from the Faculty of Physical Education.
Meanwhile, among the aged below 45, B. Boronbaev, the warden of Dormitory No. 4b, showcased remarkable prowess to clinch the first place. K. Oruzbaev, a lecturer from the Faculty of Arts, demonstrated impressive skills to secure the second position, while E. Almazbek Uulu, a lecturer from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies, and B. Koldoshev, a physical education instructor from the Faculty, claimed the third place.
The winners and top performers were honored with valuable gifts, diplomas, and trophies from the OshSU Professional Union.
The billiards championship serves a dual purpose of fostering unity within the community and providing educators with a delightful recreational activity. It also aims to cultivate a passion for sports and create a festive atmosphere, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and celebration among the faculty members of Osh State University.
