Representatives of Osh State University, led by Rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, visited Jiangsu Huibo Robotics company in the Chinese city of Suzhou. It's worth noting that earlier, in January 2024, representatives of the company visited Osh State University and expressed their readiness to open a robotics center.

During the meeting with the company's management in China, various promising areas of cooperation were discussed. In the academic year 2024-2025, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology of Osh State University will jointly admit students for the first year of bachelor's degree studies in robotics, in collaboration with the Chinese side. Additionally, robotics courses for children and teenagers will be offered. Graduates of the bachelor's program are planned to be employed in local and international manufacturing companies.

Osh State University has allocated a 500-square-meter space for the robotics laboratory center. Currently, renovation and improvement works are underway in the premises. The center will be equipped with the necessary equipment.

It is expected that investment will be attracted in two stages: $2 million in the first stage and $5 million in the second stage. This first robotics laboratory center, established in the Central Asian countries and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries, will contribute significantly to the development of robotics in Kyrgyzstan and the entire region.

Jiangsu Huibo Robotics company operates several factories, production branches, and laboratories across cities in China. They specialize in manufacturing industrial robots and also implement projects in the education sector.
