An event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Osh State University was held at the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature, Uzbekistan. A delegation led by the vice-rector for international relations of OshSU, Kursantbek Attokurov, took part in the event entitled “Osh State University - a place of friendship, cultural and literary ties.”
As part of the cultural event, an exhibition “Osh State University is 85 years old” was organized. The exhibition featured embroidery, pottery and clay products made at OshSU and sewn by students.
The event continued with a scientific seminar on the topic “The role of Osh State University in integration into the modern knowledge space.” Vice-Rector K. Attokurov presented the national Kyrgyz women clothes to the Center for Kyrgyz Language and Culture named after Ch. Aitmatov, opened at the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, and presented a letter of gratitude from the Rector of OshSU.
While visiting, the delegation from Osh State University familiarized themselves with the educational facilities at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, including educational and language teaching centers. Discussions took place regarding future collaborations between the two universities.
