Minister Visits OshSU Medical Clinic to Familiarize with Facilities and Services
Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev visited the Osh State University’s Medical Clinic. He got acquainted with the conditions for performing liver transplant operations at the clinic and met with the clinic’s doctors.
The medical clinic has opened a Transplantology Department, which is replenished with furniture and medical equipment necessary for liver transplant operations.
The first liver transplant operation at the clinic is carried out in collaboration with doctors from the İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center in Turkey. Currently, patients in need of a liver transplant seek and receive consultations from doctors. The first five patients are being prepared for surgery. The first operations are expected to be performed at the end of May.
