The representative office of DVV International of Kyrgyzstan and Osh State University began teaching the program to OshSU lecturers in 2023 in order to implement the inclusion of the Curriculum GlobALe program in the educational process.
The two-year training consisted of 6 modules, during which participants completed 550 hours of adult education in a wide range of subjects.
Director of DVV International Nadezhda Romanenko, coordinator of the Curriculum GlobALe program Ainura Makenbaeva took part in the certificate presentation ceremony held on June 19 at Osh State University. First, they met with the rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, who noted that he supports the work carried out within the program.
The goal of this project is to train specialists - andragogists from among the lecturers of OshSU to disseminate the Curriculum GlobALe program in the formal education sector. Lecturers received information about the role and significance of andragogy, features of adult education, basic concepts and differences between pedagogy and andragogy, teaching competencies in adult education, and the role of andragogy in adult education.
DVV International has been supporting adult learning and education in Kyrgyzstan since 2002. In 2012, they opened an office in Bishkek.
