Osh Teachers Begin Professional Development Courses at Osh State University

On January 14, professional development courses for teachers and school leaders in Osh commenced. This initiative is a result of a partnership between Osh State University and the Osh City Education Department.

A meeting at the school marked the launch, attended by Osh City Mayor Bakytbek Jetigenov, Saltanat Amanova, Head of the City Education Department, Ruslan Arapbaev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Osh State University, and various school principals. Discussions centered on enhancing students’ educational outcomes and the pivotal role of school principals in improving education quality. Additionally, insights were shared on the analysis of the 2022-2023 national testing results.

The program includes directors and teachers from 70 educational institutions across the city, with a total of 840 professionals participating. The training sessions are led by Tashbolot Zhoroev, Director of the Osh State University Qualification Development Center.
