Osh State University Celebrates State Language Day with Cultural Events

Osh State University celebrated the state Kyrgyz language ay on September 23, marking the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the state language law and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast. Literary and musical events were held across institutes, faculties, colleges, and lyceums.

During the celebrations, the Kyrgyz language anthem was performed, along with songs honoring its significance, and various stage performances were showcased.

The university has introduced a three-month initiative called “Osh State University - the Center of the State Kyrgyz Language”. This program will feature events centered on statehood, national values, Kyrgyz history, and the traditions of both spoken and written language.
