Osh State University Provided Free Medical Care to Nursing Home Residents
On October 1, in honor of the International Day of Older Persons, faculty members from the Department of Family Medicine and Internal Medicine at Osh State University visited the “Boorukerdik” Nursing Home in Osh. As part of the month-long “Attention and Care for Elderly People” campaign, they offered free medical consultations and examinations to the elderly residents.
The International Day of Older Persons was established by the UN General Secretariat in 1990 to raise global awareness of the challenges and needs faced by older individuals and to encourage society to support them.
