Osh State University faculty members recently attended an international conference focused on language studies. Participants included Kurmanzhan Narmyrzaeva, Associate Professor at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, Gulmira Dzhutanova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy within the Institute of Pedagogy, Art, and Journalism, as well as Seyil Ergeshova, Chinara Abdieva, Makhabat Mamyrova, and Aizhan Umarova, all faculty members from the specified institute.
Held on October 24-25 at Namangan State University in Uzbekistan, the event was the second international scientific and practical conference on “Sociolinguistic, Ethnolinguistic, Linguapoetic, and Linguacultural Challenges in Studying Onomastic Units.” At this conference, OshSU representatives presented their scientific research and also delivered guest lectures on their respective specializations.
During the visit, Gulmira Dzhutanova formalized a partnership with Namangan State University’s Department of Pedagogy, establishing a collaborative agreement for educational, research, and cultural initiatives.
