The grand finale of the “Eco-Fashion.Kyrgyzstan-2024” contest for aspiring fashion designers took place on November 17 in Bishkek. Aizirek Muratova, a fourth-year student from Osh State University’s Institute of Pedagogy, Art, and Journalism, claimed the top prize in the competition.
Another student from the same institute, Munaim Bazarkulova, secured first place in the Upcycling category.
In total, four OshSU students participated in the event, which showcased 32 collections by young designers in its final stage. The competition featured three distinct categories:
The judging panel included renowned designers from Kyrgyzstan. The event aimed to promote sustainable and mindful clothing practices, foster social responsibility, and draw attention to environmental conservation.
