The Russian Language Week concluded successfully at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, running from December 2 to 6. The event featured various competitions, allowing students to showcase their talents in singing, art, and acting.
As part of the week, a Russian Language Olympiad was held for first-year students. Myrzaim Askarbekova was honored with the Kalmamat Abdiev Scholarship, which is awarded biannually to outstanding students based on academic performance. Recipients of this $100 scholarship are selected each semester following the established guidelines.
This year’s Russian Language Week was dedicated to celebrating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Oblast. Organized by the Department of Russian Language, the event culminated in the recognition of winners and active participants, who received certificates, diplomas, and monetary awards.
