Today, December 20, Tashkent is hosting a conference marking 30 years of collaboration between the European Union and Uzbekistan in the sphere of higher education. The event, titled “Prospects for the Development of Higher Education,” brings together university rectors from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, along with participants of Erasmus+ and Tempus programs, as well as experts, researchers, postgraduates, and students.
Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, delivered a presentation on “The Impact of Erasmus+ Projects on the Educational Process in Academic Institutions.” Throughout the conference, participants are exchanging insights on educational advancements, trends, challenges, and best practices. The collaboration between the European Union and Uzbekistan in higher education has been supported through the Tempus program (1994-2014) and its successor, Erasmus+ (2014-2027).
